The oil industry in Texas is progressively focused on maximizing efficiencies in drilling operations. Oilfield drilling optimization systems market experiences a more robust growth as it continues to hold its appeal for users, particularly in the form of improved efficiency and performance that lowers overall operational costs and improve profitability.
Verification and Validation – The V& V program essentially ensures that there are checks and balances in place to verify that processes are in place, and it validates that these processes are being followed and adhered to.
Crew Mentoring – Creating a learning culture in an organization leads directly to increasing output in the workplace. By mentoring and coaching your crew in a positive manner will foster growth, efficiency and productivity. Additionally, this also improves safety, identifies leaders and enhances skill development. Rig QA’s team can mentor and give feedback to your organization in order to enhance human resource development.
Competency Assessment – Crew Assessment is an important phase of our program we can evaluate and report on the current status of the crew knowledge base. This has many advantages as it can inform management of opportunities to improve performance and output in a safe and controlled manner.
NPT Reduction Tracking – Non-Productive Time is a key measure of cost-effective and successful drilling operations. NPT may be caused by various reasons, such as unpredictable weather or technical issues. The issues that can be controlled can be counteracted by proper preparation and careful planning. This can be eventually reduced by appropriate measures and/or procedures. Through a robust dedicated inspection process NPT can be reduced on the aspects that we can controlled by identifying, reporting and rectifying the problems. Tracking NPT and identifying trends is a proactive method to improve maintenance methods resulting in improved reliability and efficiency. Rig QA can assist in developing a NPT Reduction Tracking program.
Engineering Assessments
(Third Party Review of design confirm sound design principals against industry standards and codes.)
Many times, companies work with OEM’s or other third parties to custom design equipment to perform a particular duty and or function on a rig. When doing this, companies may not have the personnel or resources to review the design to ensure it meets industry best practices and/or standards. That is where Rig QA comes in. Rig QA will work with you and your third party to ensure that the design is sound and that it adheres to industry standards independently of the OEM. Our professional engineers have a minimum of 20 years of experience and are ready to tackle the most difficult designs and will advise both the designers and manufacturers how to best proceed.
